Cause We Care Foundation’s 15th annual Care Package Drive took place on December 7th & 8th. With your help, we successfully achieved our goal to assemble and deliver 1,200 Care Packages to 40 frontline organizations across the Lower Mainland to help make the season brighter for those struggling during the holidays.
With each $150 donation we provided a new Herschel backpack filled with warm accessories from Aritzia, a $100 grocery gift card from Save-On-Foods, Purdys chocolates, and some other treats to a family in need. Thanks to our generous partners, each Care Package was valued at over $230. These backpacks offered hope, joy and a way to help reduce the stress of the season for those on an extremely limited budget.
We were thrilled that Capital Direct returned as our Corporate Matching Donor, matching all donations up to $35,000.
Thank you so much to all of our donors who supported this initiative and contributed to making the holidays a little more special for struggling families.
